The club is planning to gather at MacElmon’s Pond Provincial Park from 11am-2pm on Monday, October 12th. There will be a few portable HF stations set up for a Parks on the Air (POTA) activation of the park (CA-1791) along with a satellite activation, fox hunt and a BBQ lunch. There should be something for everyone so come on out and bring a friend or family member. Contact John VE1CWJ for more information or details.

Club Net – Sundays @ 7:10pm on VE1HAR

The TARC Sunday evening club net will resume this coming weekend (Sunday, September 20th). Join us on the VE1HAR repeater (147.135+ MHz) starting at 7:10-7:15pm (after the Gore 6m net). The net is open to all amateurs new and old and is generally a roundtable discussion rather than directed with a net controller. Bring your questions, stories, or just listen in – all are welcome!

***Correction – we will use the VE1HAR repeater in future weeks to avoid conflict with the Saltwater Net on VE1TRO at 7:30pm, sorry for the confusion tonight!

September 14, 2026 TARC AGM & Monthly Meeting

Thanks to all who attended the meeting and have joined the club for another year. A warm welcome to new club member Victor, VE1AEN, and past members Lindsey, VE1LCG, & Luigi, VE1XBJ, who have rejoined the club this year.

The AGM & meeting included election of the 2026-27 Club Executive, reports, and regular club business. Jim, VE1ASN, brought in a portable HF antenna he recently acquired which stimulated discussion about planning a club POTA & BBQ event later this Fall – more details to follow on this!
